New Recruiting Idea

yes...the MoI is at it again

My idea:

A. Set up a website, other than the forum with a recruit letter on it.
-Then in the recruit TG, we just include the webpage, which will have a link to our forums, reasons why we should join, current WA power, current number of nations, ect+any other things we want to throw on there and we can pretty it up a lot since its a webpage.

B. Create a new Recruit TG, with this website as the recruit thing.

-It would be something like this:
Hello [nation name]!!!

You Have been cordially invited to [region]Hyrule[/region]. If you are interested in joining the home of heroes, malovolent beings and the region where the legacy of classic video games lives on, then please visit this website and/or our region, [region]Hyrule[/region]: [LINK TO SAID WEBSITE WOULD BE HERE]

If you have any questions, please ask and I will be happy to assist you! Goodluck in choosing a region for your nation, and I hope [region]Hyrule[/region] will be considered.

C. I thought of this because I feel that when recruit telegrams get too long, people just overlook them out of lazyness. Plus I think that we can make Hyrule look much more appealing using a webpage, rather than a TG in NS. This is also something that no other region is doing, and so Hyrule would be inventing something yet again

Let me know what you think, or if this would even be possible.

-Something I just thought of: We could always just make another subforum in the MoI forum and have that be the website, and we can then include much more info and pictures and whatnot. That way we wouldnt have to make a webpage, however I think an entire webpage would be nice It could be Hyrule Central or something, with links to the forums, NS Hyrule NS calculators ect ect....we could eventually put an encyclopedia of member nations there and make it look reallllly nice!

EDIT!!!!!: I just made a puppet nation, and recieved several recruit TG's from other regions. Absolution has done exactly what I had in mind. Take a look....you cant tell me that this wouldnt help Hyrule in recruiting....

They had their regular recruit TG, and then at the end said take a look at our brochure....its perfect..

So...Who wants to "take one for the team"?

I will gladly make a page, however I am really only able to use Freewebs.com or somthing alng those lines to do so. If someone else is able to make a legit webpage then please let me know and do so, and I will help out in any way I can.

I would try seeing if we could utilize the forum right here. If it's done well and done right, a new nation would be able to actually see what goes on in the forum without having to navigate around too much.

Thats why I thought of making a subforum within the Ministry of Immigration, and instead of giving a link to the mainpage of the forums in the recruit TG, we would give a link to that, therefor they would click on it, see a 'bochure' of sorts, ad then be able to navigate the forum.

The good thing about creating another webpage, is that we can add a heck of a lot more to it. Links to an infinite number of things, more pictures, and have it be like the main pae to a college website if you know what I mean. You can access everything right from there, including the forums, where everyone would then go to RP, and have fun in the dodecahedron,vote for the WA ect.

I can set up a page on Hyrule.org or we can actually set up a HTML page on the forum.

Tho I'm not finished with Hyrule.org, I can finish it in a few days, and just perfect as I go. Eventually, I will be moving to a pay host, when my job situation improves.

I use FreeCSSTemplates.org for hyrule.org btw for simplicity. You can pick off that site, if you want to use it.

For the HTML Pages, they have to be pretty simple, but if you can find a Free HTML template that actually looks good, we can try that out.

If you would like to send me an HTML template that would look good please do, and I will start working on that, then if it doesnt work out we can move on to Hyrule.org
