Discussion of the week?

I have an idea to try and get more people on the forums. I was thinking if we had the space we could start placing a discussion of the week in our World Factbook entry with something like: The Forums discussion of the week: (whatever)-something crazy like "Who would win: Bruce Lee or Chuck Norris?"

and then we can have the topic posted weekly here within the Dodecahedron and have everyone say whatever they wanted to about it...It ay sound stupid, but if we pose a question that would happen to interest one person in the region and it gets them to sign up, well thats one more person we have on the forums. Hopefully once they sign up and see what all is on here, they will also be more obligated to get on here more and more.

Its just an idea that I dont think can hurt. If theres any other ideas floating around im all ears too btw

BTW, everyone know Chuck Norris would roundhouse kick Bruce Lee, duh!

But bruce lee was born in the year of the Dragon. How cool sounding is that? Plus...he is one of the quickest fighters I have ever seen.

if you boiled it down, bruce lee is a ninja and chuck norris is a pirate. if they ever really fought without acting, the universe would pretty much implode

Now idk...I dont think the Universe would implode, although it very well could happen, I think that something like a double knockout would ensue...meaning both would knock eachother out at the same time, however both would then re-awaken at the sam time and continue to fight.

Should anything else get in their way...I think it would be destroyed from their fight.

exactly. plus, Bruce lee would be at my house to block the roundhouse kick before chuck norris could hit it!

Yes, Bruce Lee is very fast, I agree. Chuck Norris, however, moves so slow that any roundhouse kick has no effect at all - he doesn't even blink. In fact, any Bruce Lee-inflicted roundhouse kick would probably backfire due to the law of conservation of energy and Bruce Lee would only hurt himself.
Just face it: Chuck Norris is clearly superior

Then, according to what you just stated, Chuck norris moves that sloww...then Bruce Lee would be able to inflict so much damage to Chuck Norris (even if you wanted to say little bits at a time), that Bruce Lee would be able to severely damage/wound/mame/kill Chuck Norris before his "mega-hit roundhouse Kick" would land-since it would take him so much time to deliver it!

The point is: Chuck Norris can sustain that much damage!

sure but chuck norris is the most destructive. In a one on one bruce lee wins by far, but good old chucky can obliterate all the worlds armies with just a well placed roundhouse, something bruce lee could never amount to

How about, "What Cartoon Character is the funniest and why?" Hopefully SM will be able to post this in the World Factbook entry too...
