DoTW What are you proud of?

In your culture, what are you most proud of? This is your time to shine and represent where your from and who you are, so lets hear it!!!

I'm an Irishman, so I really don't have that much to be proud of besides the fact that somewhere in my family's past someone decided to leave Ireland and come to the United States. But I'm actually more interested in Irish politics than American politics, and to warn any Anglophiles, I'm a supporter of Sinn Féin, meaning reunification of Ireland.

I am proud that, as an American, I have "certain unalienable rights" known to most as "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." (I took the easy way out, that's a tough question!)

I am proud to be an american for the same reasons tallsville said. I seem to have more pride that I am from the North, specifically Ohio, now that I have been in the south, oddly enough...

I am proud to be a German. A full blooded German. And that the United States may one day be good again.
