What Cartoon Character is the funniest and why? If you have never seen Adult Swim before, or cartoon network, I would get on that

so....

Old school or new school? Old school: daffy Duck, no contest. New school: Peter Griffin or Hank Hill.

Both, you have to pick a favorite and go with it.

I would agree that Peter Griffin is the funniest Cartoon Character.

With the stupid things he does, and the genious effort put into the cartoon, theres nothing better!

Family Guy can get old every now and then, especially if the episode is filled with those long silences or pauses. People only laugh because they feel like they have to laugh, whereas, if you think about it, there's nothing actually funny happening.

This said, it is a very enjoyable show.

Now as to the funniest cartoon character, I dunno. I grew up on the Looney Toons and those are classics. I really can't stand the stuff they fill Cartoon Network or the other channels with now.

As for the classis characters-they are classics, not necisarrily the funniest

Okay, if I have to pick a definite favorite, I'm going to stay in Family Guy, and go with Stewie. He is freakin' halairious! Stewie is mah hero!

I tend to favor Stewie more than Peter Griffin, however a man like Peter Griffin is more believable and everyone knows a "Peter Griffin".

If you happen to know a stewie, please run and hide immediatly, and then call the cops. haha

I do have to give squidbillies props. I dont know if anyone else has seen it, ts an adult swim thing, but I think its hilarious, esp cuz its centerd in Ohio and makes fun of the Ohio "rednecks" lol you guys should check it out sometime...

I have seen squidbillies, it's okay. And my sister and I have done that numerous times to both of our parents.

there is also Ed Edd and Eddy, my favorite cartoon as a kid, which is still pretty funny to me to this day. Family Guy still gets the win just cuz its designed for adults but still...

well, as far as oldtime carttons that are still funny go... I'm gonna have to go with spongebob squarepants. Man, he is stil funny to this day.

Old time would be Daffy Duck, Taz, bugs bunny....the "classic" more or less cartoons...Hell even Dexters Lab, Ed Edd and Eddy, and others were made long before spongbob. Heck..GI Joe!!!! The Bestest-estest Cartoon ever made in my opinion, however it cant be considered in this discussion due to it not being funny, just the most captivating and entertaining thing I will have ever seen in my life...thank you childhood, for blessing me with GI Joe-Real American Heroes!!!

The picture was used to further my point, which was written just below - being that Looney Toons (most certainly a cartoon) is the best and funniest and awesomest cartoon.

Yes, it is amazing how what my dad watched when he was a kid is still actually kinda funny today.
